By scheduling, requesting, or receiving services from Inkstress Notary Services, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
Services Provided
Inkstress Notary Services provides professional mobile services throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth area, including:
• Mobile Notary Services
• Notary Signing Agent Services
• Field Inspection & Verification Services
Service availability may vary based on location, scheduling, and operational requirements.
Appointment Requirements
To complete a notarization, the following requirements must be met:
• All signers must be physically present at the appointment.
• Each signer must provide valid, unexpired government-issued photo identification.
• Signers must be aware, willing, and able to communicate with the notary.
• Documents must be complete and ready for notarization.
Inkstress Notary Services reserves the right to refuse or discontinue services when required by law, when notarization requirements are not met, or when fraud, coercion, duress, impairment, lack of awareness, inability to communicate, safety concerns, or inappropriate conduct are suspected.
Fees & Payment
Service fees may vary based on:
• Type of service
• Number of notarizations
• Travel distance
• Appointment time
• Document volume
• Special handling requirements
Additional fees may apply for:
• Travel services
• After-hours or emergency appointments
• Printing services
• Document delivery services
Accepted payment methods may include:
• Credit and debit cards
• Digital wallets
• ACH bank transfers
• Other approved payment methods agreed upon in advance
Unless otherwise agreed, payment is due at the time services are rendered.
Travel, Cancellation & Refund Policies
By scheduling services, clients agree to Inkstress Notary Services' Travel & Service Area Policy, Cancellation & No-Show Policy, and Refund Policy, which are incorporated into these Terms & Conditions by reference.
Legal Disclaimer
Inkstress Notary Services is not a law firm and is not licensed to practice law.
We do not provide legal advice, legal representation, or legal document preparation services.
Clients are responsible for selecting, completing, and understanding their own documents.
Field Inspection & Verification Disclaimer
Field Inspection & Verification Services are limited to visual observations, documentation, and reporting based on client instructions.
Inkstress Notary Services does not perform licensed home inspections, engineering evaluations, code compliance inspections, environmental inspections, or property valuations.
Safety & Service Refusal
Appointments must be conducted in a safe, secure, and appropriate environment.
Inkstress Notary Services reserves the right to refuse, postpone, discontinue, or terminate services if conditions are deemed unsafe, inappropriate, unlawful, or otherwise unsuitable for completing the requested service.
Insurance & Liability
Inkstress Notary Services maintains:
• $100,000 Errors & Omissions Insurance
• $10,000 Texas Notary Bond
To the fullest extent permitted by law, liability arising from services provided shall be limited to the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

Inkstress Notary Services is committed to providing professional and reliable service. This policy explains when refunds may be issued and when charges remain due.
Refund Eligibility
Refund requests may be considered when services have not yet been performed or in cases involving billing errors, duplicate charges, or other administrative issues.
Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds generally will not be provided in the following situations:
• The requested service has been completed
• The notary has traveled to or arrived at the appointment location
• The client fails to appear for a scheduled appointment
• The appointment cannot be completed due to circumstances within the client's control, including but not limited to missing identification, unavailable witnesses, missing documents, or signer unavailability
• Cancellation, no-show, or travel fees assessed in accordance with our Cancellation & No-Show Policy and Travel & Service Area Policy

Refund requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
If approved, refunds will be issued to the original form of payment whenever possible.

At Inkstress Notary Services, appointment times are reserved specifically for each client. Late cancellations and missed appointments may prevent us from serving other clients and result in lost scheduling opportunities.
Late Cancellations
Appointments canceled at least 1 hour before the scheduled appointment time will not incur a cancellation fee.
Appointments canceled less than 1 hour before the scheduled appointment time may be charged a $25 Late Cancellation Fee.
No-Shows
If the notary arrives at the appointment location and the signer is unavailable, cannot be contacted, fails to appear, or otherwise does not participate in the scheduled appointment, a $25 No-Show Fee may apply.
Rescheduling
Cancellation and no-show fees do not apply toward future appointments. Rescheduled appointments are subject to availability and current service fees.
Travel Fees
Travel fees and service area requirements are governed separately by our Travel & Service Area Policy.

Inkstress Notary Services provides mobile notary and related services by traveling to the client's requested location. This policy explains our service area, travel fees, and travel-related appointment requirements.
Service Area
Inkstress Notary Services provides mobile services within a 25-mile radius of ZIP code 75240.
Appointments outside of the standard service area may be accommodated based on availability and may incur additional travel fees.
Services may be provided at homes, offices, hospitals, care facilities, businesses, and other mutually agreed-upon locations throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex.
Travel Fees
Mobile services include travel fees based on distance, appointment requirements, and location.
Travel fees help offset:
• Travel time
• Fuel and transportation expenses
• Scheduling and administrative costs
All travel fees will be disclosed before an appointment is confirmed whenever possible.
Appointment Confirmations & Client Responsibilities
Inkstress Notary Services may provide appointment confirmations and reminders as a courtesy. However, clients remain responsible for ensuring that all required documents, identification, witnesses, and participants are available and prepared at the scheduled appointment time.
Traveled Appointments
If the notary arrives at the appointment location and the appointment cannot be completed due to circumstances within the client's control, applicable travel fees remain due.
Examples include, but are not limited to:
• Signer unavailable or absent
• Missing or unacceptable identification
• Missing required documents
• Required witnesses unavailable
• Signer declines to proceed after arrival
• Signer does not meet notarization requirements
Appointment Locations
Appointments must be conducted in a safe and appropriate environment suitable for completing the requested service.
Additional Travel Considerations
Additional fees may apply for:
• Travel beyond the standard service area
• After-hours or emergency appointments
• Time-sensitive requests
• Special travel requirements
Any applicable fees will be communicated prior to appointment confirmation whenever possible.
